This group allows the hydrostatic drive of the vehicle by installing a hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor at the transfer case and hydrostatic case module respectively. The transferring of the vehicle is achieved with the capability of varying the forward speed without affecting the operational speed of the equipment. The hydrostatic case module, designed for a number of applications, provides several reduction drive ratios. Customers of Optima’s have been using creep drives designs. These units shown in the picture are getting close to shipment and will be used in a guardrail truck application.  The creep drive allows the vehicle to creep along at very low consistent speeds, regardless of the engine speed.  This in turn allows the auxiliary systems to utilize the power needed to perform the work needed effectively.  The vehicle is then able to drive at a normal speed once the system is disengaged.

VERTICAL TYPE SPLIT SHAFT PTO

OPS371 has been specifically designed for sewer cleaning trucks. OPS371 is a split shaft power take-off whose dimensions and performance are particularly suitable for driving through cardan shafts hydraulic pumps, blowers, compressors above the lorry’s frame. The flange for Cardan shafts can be mounted both on differential and/or cabin sides. On the opposite side, there is the possibility of having a flange for the direct mounting of a hydraulic pump.  Equivalent to:  omsi PFT 3000/4AV-E (PFT-4AV-E/3000), PFT-3000/2AV,  Muncie SSV series.  PZB 42903, 42904, 42905, 42906, 32903, 32904, 32905, 32906.

HYDRO-MECHANICAL DRIVES

OPTIMA designs and produces hydro-mechanical transmission units for special lorry applications. Their position between the gearbox and rear axle makes it possible to change vehicle drive from mechanical to hydrostatic via a dedicated hydraulic circuit. Designed for controlled speed, OPTIMA hydro-mechanical transmission systems have an additional PTO that eliminates the need for an auxiliary engine. Possible applications include road sweepers, road washers, ground support equipment, firefighting equipment, snowplows, and cranes.

SPLITTER GEARBOX FOR ISO 4 BOLT PUMPS

Direct pump mounting version available. Equivalent to interpump/PZB 3.4.2.6 SPLITTER GEARBOX FOR ISO 4 BOLT PUMPS The splitter gearbox is a gearbox that allows multiple outputs from a single input, which can be used for: - forestry and grab cranes with two separate hydraulic circuits, - flour, grain, cement, etc. The tank where a hydraulic pump and compressor are needed to tip and blow, - or any other application where various separate drives are required. Depending on which unit is selected it is possible to increase or reduce output speed if required. However, a 1:1 ratio version is available.
